About Gamers Factory, Inc.

Gamers Factory, Inc. started operations in 2002, setting its original sights on purchasing salvage loads of video game products from large retailers. The company specialized in receiving, sorting, grading, and ultimately redistributing wholesale lots of video game products back into the used game marketplace.

In 2005, Gamers Factory began focusing more on direct to consumer sales and launched its still very successful www.ebay.com business account in hopes of capturing better margin in the used game business. The direct to consumer market brought on a new set of challenges for the company, requiring a more vigorous inspection and testing process to guarantee product quality. Gamers Factory re-geared by investing in and training skilled software disk refurbishment employees and equipment, developed hardware and accessory refurbishment and repair technology and technicians, and developed an in house inventory management system to better deal with the thousands of game titles and next generation hardware and accessories hitting the market every week.

During 2006, Gamers Factory recognized the limitations when dealing with salvage loads of video game product and began to explore the concept of buying video games directly from the consumer. It launched the www.gamersfactory.com website that provided a fair and simple method for consumers to trade for cash their vast and aging collections of already played video games, accessories, and hardware. The website is poised for a redesign to launch in late October 2007, and processes hundreds of trade-ins from consumers each week.

In addition to launching its trade-in website, the company invested in the development of an in-store POS system that would allow any retail partner to make fair but profitable trade-ins with consumers. Using their pricing engine that tracks the volatile market price changes of all video game products, the company has launched strategic partnerships with key retailers across the United States and continues to add new destinations for consumers to trade their video game collections in for cash, new video game or non video game products.

In 2007, Gamers Factory has launched its direct sales website at www.gamersfactory.com so consumers can purchase high quality, guaranteed pre owned video game products at great prices every day. The company has formed strategic sales partnerships with www.amazon.com giving access to its large inventory of pre owned games, accessories, and hardware to the growing amazon.com consumer market, and continues to grow its www.ebay.com auction business each month.

In late 2007 the company will launch more online services, including a business to business site that will make it easy for smaller retailers and wholesalers to buy and sell products, a peer to peer community to allow consumers to trade video games with each other, and a whole suite of tools to help smaller video game retailers successfully operate in the used game business.
